The organisation believes that an independent “mind bank” is the route to provide changed outlooks, modified directions, and reinforcement of widely accepted existing policies which are not subject to political expediency. It has a role in nurturing, shaping, critically analysing, and redefining policies, which emerge out of public awareness.
The mission is to educate the people and the state about the issues confronting them, to put a national and international canvas on these issues, and develop a futuristic plan that forecasts events, eventualities, and options to tackle them. It seeks to fulfil the lack of interaction between thinkers and the planners, and between bureaucrats and politicians, to arrive at widely acceptable options, by public discussions in well attended fora, presentations, and monographs.
